QLINE Surpasses 1 Million Riders in 2023

The QLINE surpassed one million riders in 2023, a fifty percent increase from 2022.

“Our investments in service improvements, establishing closer connections with residents, businesses, and events along the route, and the continued development of our locally operated team made reaching this milestone possible,” said M-1 RAIL President Lisa Nuszkowski. “We are grateful for our riders, supporters, and team for helping make this goal a reality.”

The QLINE surpassed one million riders thanks to higher-than-ever reliability, with streetcars arriving in 15 minutes or less on 70% of its trips in 2023. According to a spring 2023 on-board survey of riders, 60% ride at least three times per week with work, entertainment, dining, shopping, and education as the leading reasons for riding.

With major events, including the NFL Draft upcoming in 2024, the QLINE expects to continue building upon this momentum.
